Description:  Our bespoke courses are designed to deliver either training or competence based training and assessment. We will design course learning materials drawn from evidence based systems and advise on the correct legislation your course might need to follow. Our courses are designed by mountain rescue national rope rescue trainers who actually do the job they train people to do.

A wide range of rescue equipment and techniques will be demonstrated, and taught on this course including innovative equipment and systems.

climworksafety ltd are the UK agents for Bornack work and rescue equipment.

Prerequisites:  Candidates must be comfortable with heights; the minimum age is 18 years

Certification:

A certificate of training and assessment components will be issued by climbworksafety ltd. All courses carry a 2 year validation.

climbworksafety ltd recommend a 1 day update refresher/assessment every 12 months.

All of our courses fall within scope of BS8454:2006 which provides recommendations and guidance on the delivery of training and education for work at height, including rescue.  It is applicable to training for work which falls within the scope of the Work at Height Regulations 2005. The standard is applicable to training for work at height in an industrial context, including work at height in factories and in the construction, civil engineering and cleaning sectors, all climb industries courses are delivered in accordance with those standards.
